Who we are

FindMyParts.lk (“we”, “us”) is a Sri Lanka marketplace that helps buyers find vehicle spare parts from verified shops and nearby garages. Contact: hello@findmyparts.lk.

Data we collect

• Account details: name, email, phone, password hash, role
• Shop/garage verification: BR number, NIC number, uploaded document images
• Marketplace content: part requests, quotes, inventory listings, reviews
• Location you choose for matching (city and optional map coordinates)
• Notifications: in-app alerts; optional email, WhatsApp, and push subscription endpoints
• Billing: invoices and PayHere payment references (not full card data)

How we use data

We use your data to operate the marketplace: match buyers with shops, send quotations and alerts, verify businesses, process plan payments, improve reliability, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing

Relevant contact details may be shared between buyers and shops when you quote or accept a quote so you can complete the deal. Payment processing is handled by PayHere. Email/SMS/WhatsApp/push providers receive only what is needed to deliver messages you enable.

Retention & security

We keep account and marketplace records while your account is active and as required for disputes or law. Uploads are stored on our servers or configured object storage. Use a strong password and enable OTP where available.

Your choices

You can update profile details in your account, disable push notifications, and request account deletion by emailing hello@findmyparts.lk. Mobile apps load this website in a WebView and follow the same policy.
